Being a stay-at-home mom to a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old while going to college is a special kind of chaos. My days revolve around diapers, snacks, toy cleanups, and constant supervision. There’s no school drop-off or quiet house just yet. Most of my studying happens during nap time, late at night, or in short bursts whenever I can squeeze it in.

Some days feel productive, and others feel like I barely kept everyone alive, and that counts too. Going to college this season has taught me how to give myself grace. I’ve learned that progress doesn’t always look like long study sessions or perfectly planned days. Sometimes it looks like finishing one paragraph, reviewing notes while a toddler plays at my feet, or listening to lectures with a baby on my hip. Despite the unpredictability of each day, I’ve managed to stay consistent and keep my grades in a good place, which feels reassuring.

What keeps me going is knowing I’m building something bigger for my family and myself. I want my children to grow up seeing determination, resilience, and the importance of chasing goals even when it’s hard. This chapter isn’t easy, but it’s meaningful, and one day, I’ll look back and be proud that I kept going, even in the middle of the mess.

Progress doesn’t need perfection..just persistence, patience, and a little grace.

You got this momma..
